What Is the Average Service Time for a Food Truck Catering?

Food trucks will provide 2 hours of service for every 100 guests they are feeding.

Guest Count to Service Time Ratio:

  • 0-199 guests = 2 hours
  • 200-399 guests = 4 hours
  • 400-599 guests = 6 hours
  • 600-799 guests = 8 hours

Special Circumstances:

  • You only have 2 hours to feed 200+ guests: We recommend booking multiple trucks.
  • You have 200+ guests with space for only 1 truck: We recommend extending service time to feed all guests.
  • You have fewer than 200 guests but need the truck to serve longer: Be prepared to pay roughly $750 for every additional hour of service.
